NetHope Members are responding to Covid-19 across the globe

As Covid-19 has caused unprecedented shifts in humanitarian response, NetHope Members are taking monumental steps to ensure the safety of underserved populations across the globe. NetHope supports its Members globally. We take pride in their responses and the tremendous impact they are having around the world. Explore some of the responses of our Members to this world-changing pandemic.

Welcome Lance! Lance will be taking over from Liz Bronder, who has been acting as interim CEO since February 2020, and will begin his tenure in mid-November 2020. “We are confident that Lance can continue bringing cohesion to the NetHope team as they continue moving forward with high ambitions. He is well placed to be an engaged and respected colleague to our Members and partners, and he has the right attitude to be a good counterpart to the Board by collaborating thoughtfully for solutions needed” said Farhan Irshad, NetHope Board Chair.

Thank you so much for being a part of the first-ever NetHope Virtual Global Summit! Wow. What an amazing, challenging, exhausting, inspiring and exciting week we had! With more than 1,300 of you getting involved from 82 countries across the globe, the NetHope 2020 Summit has been truly unforgettable.

We’re sure you will want to join us in saying an extra-special thank you to our wonderful Summit hosts, and vital part of NetHope for years, Alexandra Alpert, and Fredrik Winsnes. This was their last Summit as NetHope staff members, and they’ve done an absolutely incredible job! Thank you both so much for everything you’ve done to make the 2020 Summit run so smoothly and for ensuring NetHope's continued success.

NetHope Publishes the Frontline Humanitarian Logistics Data Standard
This FHL Data Standard project brought together experience from nonprofits, some of the world’s biggest technology companies with expertise in supply chain management, technology consultants and academics with a focus on humanitarian logistics. Together they ensured the data standard would be rigorous, fit for purpose, and crucially could be dynamic and built upon. They knew their standard would increase in relevance and value as it was further tested in the fire of large-scale software development and real-life aid situations.
