For 20 years, the NetHope community has been united by a vision for a more equitable and just world, where everyone can flourish on a planet that is protected.

May 2021
Dear Friends,
It has been a busy month here at NetHope. This is the time of year when we pull together annual activity reports for all of our Member organizations, showcasing the collective impact they have been part of through their role in the NetHope community. I am pleased to say that these reports have just been sent out in a new visual format that will help better communicate the ways in which Members have been interacting within and across their organizations via NetHope.
Among other areas of work, we have also been making strides in planning for this year’s NetHope Annual Global Summit – a celebration of 20 years of collective action. Earlier this month I also personally had the privilege of hosting a webinar for our Members about harnessing a purpose mindset in their teams, with author, former head of Microsoft philanthropy, and NetHope Fellow Akhtar Badshah.
In our monthly Member meeting, it was likewise exciting to hear how a NetHope IDEA Journey has helped Member organization Pro Mujer transform their business model. A large part of NetHope’s mission is to employ digital as a way of accelerating the positive impact of our Members on the lives of the people they work with and serve. As a result, it is encouraging to hear these stories of organizational change as they validate and highlight the benefits of being in this community. If you have a story to tell of the impact NetHope and our community has had on your work, please do email and let us know.
Finally, I want to say thank you to our partners AWS, CISCO and Salesforce for their offers of support for our Members in their Covid-19 work in India and Brazil. Thank you as well to all the Members who responded. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to bring our tech sector partners and nonprofit frontline providers together for greater impact. We want to be a catalyst for new relationships over the coming weeks and months of this continuing crisis to provide vital support in these extremely challenging times.

Thank you for all you do, and for being a leader in this community.

Warmly and in peace,

Lance Pierce
NetHope CEO
