We Are Making Wigs
with The Magic Yarn Project

During the month of February, we helped create yarn wigs to support young cancer patients and survivors.

Chemotherapy treatments often leave the scalp too sensitive for traditional wigs, and Magic Yarn Wigs are inspired by beloved Disney characters, and invite children back to the world of play and daydreaming. They are beacons of fun, laughter, and play, during scary times.

This month we are talking about packing your salad in a jar. Yes, that’s right, leafy green salads, with no soggy surprises. Dressing goes on the bottom, veggies and other salad goodies get piled on top.
Everything stays separate and dressing-free until you toss the salad.  The best part of it all, the salad lasts  for days in the fridge, so we can make a weeks worth of lunches ahead of time.
