Dementia Dangers from Stroke in May

May is American Stroke Month. What does this have to do with dementia? Based on a study from ASA, researchers discovered that up to 60% of all stroke survivors develop cognitive impairment within a year and a third develop dementia within five years. There are things you should you know now to avoid risk.
