A message from Sarah Laturnus, Brockville Tourism Manager

Thank you for the warm welcome I've received since I've taken on this role for Brockville Tourism!

I am thrilled to be working with each and everyone of you. I am hopeful that in the near future we can make a point of meeting one on one to discuss how Brockville Tourism can help you with any tourism initiatives we can partner on, and how we can better assist you.

Brockville Tourism's goal this year is to encourage visitors to our gem of a city to stay longer and do more while they are here, and hopefully that will benefit all of us!
My main purpose, among others, is to manage stakeholder relations and also oversee our team of tourism ambassadors, while working with the rest of the tourism team who will be in charge of marketing and strategies. My goal personally, is to open the lines of communications so that your information is made readily available for our visitors when they need it most.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly should you have any specific matters you'd like to discuss.

We here at Brockville Tourism are gearing up for the season and we are ready to welcome visitors from near and far!

 What we need from you:

Most importantly, we need you to submit your event information as they become confirmed. The stakeholder portal on the Brockville Tourism website is where we need you to do that please.

Brockville Tourism is excited to announce a new initiative that we are launching this summer to engage our visitors and … you guessed it, stay longer and do more! We need you're help. We are looking for incentives that our Ambassadors can use to encourage guests to add experiences to their visit. For example, when we receive the question 'what else can we do?' we want to have an arsenal of coupons available to cruise through to suit that particular visitor's tastes. Perhaps we can offer a discounted appetizer at a restaurant when you purchase an entrée or an adult beverage, maybe a discounted ticket to one of the attractions or a discount to accommodations if they are looking for somewhere to stay last minute. This is where you come in as the provider.

All we ask is that you provide the promotion and logo. Our team will then create the digital coupon and put it into rotation with our ambassadors. We will even have a tracking option should you as the provider like to participate. Please contact me at your earliest convenience if you would like to participate and we will get that ball rolling!

Lastly, Brockville Tourism is offering a free 30 second spot on the promo televisions at the visitor centre for any tourism related event or organization that wishes to have their information highlighted. This is a FREE service from Brockville Tourism for 2022 for Brockville Tourism related information specifically. Any businesses or organizations that are not directly related to Brockville Tourism but would like to advertise, there is a fee of $50 per month to do so. Please send your mp4 videos (can be a still/flyer or PowerPoint of slides converted into a 30 second video as well) to me directly and I will ensure they go up. Dimensions should be 1920 w x 1080 h px.
