Here's wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Hoping you get the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage that we are so lucky to have right here in our very own yards. It is also the last weekend that Brockville's railway tunnel is open this year. As of Monday October 10th, the tunnel's regular operations will be closed for the winter season. Not to worry though, below you'll find lots to do in the upcoming weeks!
If you haven't had a chance to check out the resources page for stakeholders on the Brockville Tourism website, I should let you know that there have been some recent uploads to the media library, and there are some fabulous fall photos available to you!

Mac Johnson Fall Festival
One of our most popular seasonal events is back, the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area Annual Fall Festival at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville.
The outdoor party takes place on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features several fun activities for every member of the family.
Pumpkin Carving & Kids Crafts
Scavenger hunt & Games for all ages
Hikes for fall colours
Hot dog BBQ, Marshmallow roasting
This year, the Mush Larose dogsledders are back with their dog carts, with races beginning at 11 a.m.
Admission is $10 per vehicle.
To get to the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area, take Highway 29 north from Brockville to Tincap,
turn east on Debruge Road and drive for two kilometers to the main entrance.

Halloween Hullabaloo VII
After a long two year absence Brockville’s most Spooktacular Halloween event is back at The Brockville Legion!
Join us for an evening, of live rock music featuring Abandon Eden opening up for our hoser friends in The Johnny Canuck Show.
Dress up as your favorite hero, villain, ghost, or goblin, and qualify for over $500 is costume prizes. Or just dance the night away to great live music!

Roger and Claire Cohen live a love filled life in the Tri-Counties with their talented daughter, Alexandra. Their idyllic happiness is imperiled by cataclysmic events, which threaten everything they hold dear. A series of incidents warn of an ominous future as a mysterious illness threatens their community. Claire’s beloved cousin, Stephanie Porter, faces tragedy amidst the puzzling disappearance of her husband, Todd. He is a senior executive, and Roger’s boss, at a local health care products company, which is racing to find a cure for the illness. The mystery deepens as local pets disappear and the integrity of local law enforcement comes under siege. Roger, Claire and Stephanie struggle to unravel the mystery of Todd’s disappearance, while threats to their lives and secrets that surround them undermine the trust they hold in everything they cherish.
