Sarah Laturnus, Tourism Manager

Greetings!

I hope you are keeping warm. Winter is certainly upon us!

We were very lucky weather wise last week when Instagram influencers Kirsten Wendlandt and Alicia Waid joined us here in Brockville for their Southeastern Ontario FAM tour. The ladies had a lovely time and captured some amazing content! Be sure to check out their socials @kirstenwendlandt & @aliciawaid to see the beautiful media that they posted about our pretty city. All made possible through our partnership with RTO9!

I am thrilled to finally spill the beans that through partnerships with Destination Ontario, RTO9 / Southeastern Ontario and Landsby, Brockville Tourism is launching a Winter Escape Health & Wellness package. This package will be promoted through all of the aforementioned partners' websites and advertising campaigns starting mid January for a duration of 4 weeks. Through this opportunity we are very excited to be inviting influencer Stefan Thurairatnam @destinationandleisure , who boasts over 1.2 million followers on instagram, to experience the package and its add-ons! Another fabulous opportunity made possible by the RTO9 Drive for Excellence Program. Thank you RTO9!

Winter means hockey and hockey means tournaments! If you happen to be at the memorial centre or youth arena over the next few months, make sure to say hello to our tourism ambassadors who will be stationed there welcoming hockey families from out of town and giving them the scoop on what to do in Brockville between games!

Scroll down to find out more winter happenings and opportunities below. Have a great week!
