Sarah Laturnus, Tourism Manager

Spring is definitely here! The temperature is creeping up and Brockville Tourism is getting ready for the 2023 Brochure Swap! This year we are hosting the event alongside the magnificent St. Lawrence River at the Tall Ships Landing Marina parking lot. This is an event you do not want to miss! It's your opportunity to share your promotional material and collect from your fellow tourism operators so that we can help spread the word for each other! It's a tailgate party and you're invited! Join us Tuesday May 23rd 8am-12pm.

I also would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the 2023 Mobile Tourism Ambassador Lead, Christian!

Christian comes to us with a great arsenal of leadership, customer service, sales, theatre, public and community relations skills. I am confident he will be an exceptional addition to the tourism team! Be on the look out, he begins next week and will be reaching out to various tourism operators on tourism's behalf throughout the season. Welcome Christian!

Social Media Tips

As we head into the busy tourism season, we will be sharing weekly social media tips to help enhance your online presence and appeal to visitors.

Weekly Tip: Make sure your Instagram profile is searchable

More and more travelers are using social media as a way to find attractions, accommodations, and restaurants. Think about keywords your audience would be using to find your business and make sure these keywords are used in your Instagram Name Field and Bio.
