We are certainly keeping busy this week! Christian, our new Lead Mobile Ambassador has started. He's set up the new location the team will call homebase this year. Training material is being updated and orientation planning has begun. We may be calling on you in the next week or so to set up a tour with our new hires so that they can represent you with the most up to date information about your organization.

 

On Tuesday Brockville Tourism made our 1st quarter report to the City's General Committee. If you would like to learn more about what we've been up to you can catch the video here.

Destination Ontario Requesting Brochures
 
Ontario Travel Information Centres are in need of brochures from destinations across Ontario, including Brockville. If you'd like your business to be represented at the Travel Information Centres, mail (prepaid postage please) brochures to the following address. A quantity of 150 is requested:

Cruise Ship, Canadian Empress, Docking in Brockville

Share your brochure with other local businesses and pick up brochures to provide customers

 

The 2023 edition of the Brochure and Rack Card Exchange Day is happening rain or shine on May 23rd! This event will take place in the parking lot at the Tall Ships Landing Marina and will move inside the Aquatarium in case of rain!

 

Bring your rack cards, pamphlets, brochures, flyers, posters and any other promo material you can fit in your vehicle for this fun morning of tailgate swapping and networking.

Experience Ontario 2023: Funding Available

 

The government is investing $19.5 million in one-time funding through the Experience Ontario 2023 program to provide support to in-person festivals and events with a tourism economic impact to motivate visitors to rediscover Ontario.

 

Applicants are eligible to apply for a grant of up to 50% of total eligible costs to a maximum of $125,000.

 

Applications will be measured against program criteria and, as such, there is no guarantee of funding.
