Well, the time has come. As you may or may not be aware, my last day with Brockville Tourism is going to be Tuesday May 30th. In an unexpected twist of events, I have accepted a permanent position with Ottawa Tourism starting next month.

It has been my absolute pleasure and honour to work with all the tourism operators, partners, staff/volunteers and of course visitors over the last 14 months. My time in this seat was truly a long time dream come true. Thank you for all of your support. I am certain that Brockville is going to have an outstanding peak season and beyond.

Please know that I am not disappearing completely. If we haven't connected already on LinkedIn, please feel free to do so so that we can keep in touch!

Here's hoping you have your best year yet!

Sincerely,

Sarah Laturnus, Tourism Manager

Social Media Tips
with Lyndsay Bigley, Tourism Digital Media Coordinator

Weekly Tip: Post photos and videos of your space and the area that surrounds it

Many tourism operators post general updates on hours, promotions, menu items, etc. but miss out on posting visuals of their actual business! These visuals will entice visitors to come to your business more than the general updates will.

Don't overthink this! Beautiful day? Post a photo of your storefront. Tables set up for dinner? Post a video of the tables.
