The sun is shining and summer is officially here! 

With Tourism Season in full swing, the Brockville Visitor Centre is now open 7 days a week. If you haven't been to the Visitor Centre, it is located at 6 Broad Street on the main level of the Aquatarium. 

The City of Brockville also lifted the fire ban earlier this week which means we can safely enjoy campfires again at private residences, at St. Lawrence Park and on the City Islands.

Government of Canada has committed $25 Million to a LGBTQ+ Entrepreneurship Program

The entrepreneurship program will be run by the CGLCC, a chamber of commerce for Canada's LGBTQ community, and will include three main components: a business scale-up program, an ecosystem fund and a knowledge hub. This news was announced at the Global 2SLGBTQI+ Business Summit and Supplier Diversity Forum in Kingston.
