Hello Tourism Community,

With school starting next week, we are starting to see a shift in visitors to Brockville. Weekends will still be popular with families, but for many, fall months are prime tourism season for retirees.

As promised, the Visitor Centre at 6 Broad Street, will continue to operate 7 days a week till Thanksgiving weekend. Hours will be 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 every other day.

We are looking for your fall events, plans, and ideas. Please submit your events to our events calendar so we can help promote for you. Let us know how we can help keep the great momentum we saw this summer moving forward.

Upcoming Social Media Workshop in Brockville

Join the RTO 9 and Anna Ruck for a morning of hands-on learning of social media video asset creation tactics for your tourism business! This workshop is on September 11 at St. Lawrence College in Brockville. It is capped at 20 participants in-person and requires pre-registration.

TSNO Workforce Issues, Opportunities and Impact Report

The report is a Tourism SkillsNet Ontario (TSNO) Alliance Initiative led by OTEC, in partnership with TIAO. These insights were gathered in early 2023 and project tourism employment treds into 2025.
