Stroll through the luminous pathways of Brookgreen Gardens’ Nights of a Thousand Candles, November 26 thru January 1. Surrounded by thousands of hand-lit candles and nearly 2 million twinkling lights, guests enjoy the enchantment with live holiday music and warm beverages. Get in the holiday spirit with a tour of 11 beautifully decorated homes and two houses of worship in and around Georgetown’s historic district. Trimmed in twinkling lights and ornate adornments, these properties are open to ticket holders on Saturday, December 10, from 1-5 p.m. through a fundraiser by the Georgetown Public Library (advance ticket purchase is required). While in Georgetown, you can also browse five museums, including the holiday-decked Kaminski House, and finish up the day by doing a little holiday shopping at Front Street businesses.
