State Champions!

Last night, the Gulliver varsity boys’ soccer team captured its first state title since 2015, defeating Mariner High School, 4-3, pulling off the ultimate comeback to win the FHSAA Boys Soccer State Championship. Down by one with 13 minutes left, Sebastian Paz '20 came through with a game-tying goal! After 14 minutes of overtime, Cole Ritzenthaler '20 got a deep pass down low to Jaime Perez-Bedmar '20, who knocked in the game-winning goal for the Raiders. “When it went in, it was an unbelievable feeling. All we know how to do is keep battling. There is no quit in us and there wasn’t tonight,” said Perez-Bedmar. Led by Head Coach Chris Bart-Williams, Gulliver ends its season with a record of 15-7-4. The state crown marks the 7th in varsity boys' soccer history and Gulliver Athletics' 61st overall.

Engineering Students Explore Solar Energy

Upper School engineering students are making discoveries for the future. Students are working to make combustion engine vehicles a thing of the past with a car that is powered solely by the sun. The purpose of this build is to learn design through online programming, 3D models, and hands-on building. Click the button to watch as Lucas Figueroa ‘23 gives us an inside look at their fully functional, solar-powered car. Stay tuned as the BBR8ERS have a race in April to see how their car compares to cars made by other schools in the district.
