SCHOOL NEWS AND UPDATES

Student-Athletes Return
to Competition
Fall sports got underway last week and the first day of competition took place on September 16, as the boys' varsity golf team defeated Westminster Christian. The health and safety of our coaches and student-athletes have always been a top priority, and remain so, now more than ever, as we work together to ensure a safe environment for athletic competition. This year, most fall sports will enjoy half seasons. All Gulliver Prep competition sites will allow two guests per student-athlete and athletic venues will max out at 25% capacity. Fans will need to wear masks and get their temperature checked upon arrival to all sporting events. Hand sanitizing stations will be available and we ask that attendees utilize the visible markings in seating areas which indicate social distancing requirements. Click on the button to watch RaiderVision's Jaden Outar '23 give us an inside look at how teams are preparing to return to action.

Students Make their Mark on Dot Day
Last week, Primary and Lower School students celebrated International Dot Day - a day inspired by the book, "The Dot," by Peter Reynolds, to recognize how one small act can make a large impact on the world. Students were encouraged to "make their mark" as they shared small acts of kindness, explored their creativity, and discovered their confidence through engaging activities. This year marked the fourth year of our Dot Day celebration, which took place a little differently with students participating both in-person and virtually.

From delicious treats, to supporting their hometown HEAT, to dressing up in their favorite blue and white spirit gear, students learning on campus and online have been able to join in on the fun.
