Listings: Update Now for the 2022 Travel Guide.

Want your listing to portray your business accurately in the 2022 Travel Guide? Now is the time to update, add or delete business listings on Wyoming Office of Tourism's Partner Portal. Work on the 2022 Travel Guide is already underway, and any changes made to listings after May 31 will not be reflected in the guide. Please take a moment to spruce up your listings now so that we can provide visitors with the most accurate and up-to-date information in 2022.

The recording for the February webinar, 2021 Travel Content Trends, is now available on our industry webpage. The webinar addressed what we learned regarding our messaging and content this past year and how to apply that as we move through 2021. Panelist included members of the Wyoming Office of Tourism Brand Studios Team.

Top Media Placements
This past month, WOT distributed a national press release highlighting Wyoming’s recognition as a top travel destination for 2021, awarded by Travel + Leisure and AFAR. The release was distributed ahead of National Plan for Vacation Day, encouraging and inspiring travelers to plan for safe and enjoyable vacations this year, highlighting WOT’s “WY Responsibly” campaign that encourages locals and visitors to travel responsibly. The release also garnered additional organic placements in local broadcast (KCWY) and online news (Wyoming News Now). Additionally, AFAR published its “Where to Go” feature in the January print issue, which prominently highlights Wyoming as a top destination in the new year.

Cheyenne will be hosting Small Market Meetings on September 26-28, 2021. More than 75 meeting planners will be in attendance to host one on one meetings in a reverse tradeshow format with more than 200 destinations.

Cheyenne will also be hosting Select Traveler in March of 2022. More than 100 travel planners from alumni groups, banks, chambers of commerce and tour companies will come to Cheyenne to meet with nearly 250 destinations.
