Top-tier journalists attend WOT’s fashion-focused event in Los Angeles
Wyoming Office of Tourism kicked off the new year with a stylish media event in Los Angeles. Nearly 20 writers from well-known publications like the New York Times, Travel + Leisure and TIME gathered mid-January in West Hollywood, eager to learn more about the Cowboy State. The event focused on Wyoming’s role in the fashion industry, featuring local businesswomen, Lexie Garrett, owner of Alexis Drake, and Haley Fitzgerald, owner of Spruced Plume.
WOT builds on relationships with Wyoming ranches during the Dude Rancher’s Association Convention

In January, Glenn Gardner, Wyoming Office of Tourism's strategic partnerships manager, attended the Dude Rancher’s Association Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. With Wyoming dude ranches serving as a major attraction for Wyoming visitors, WOT took this opportunity to speak with the ranches directly, creating a greater network of experts in this space. More specifically, Gardner sat down with Wyoming ranches during the Wyoming Dude Rancher’s Association district meeting where he presented opportunities offered through WOT to help reach a broader audience and market their respective ranches to prospective visitors. WOT is looking forward to working more closely with Wyoming dude ranches following this valuable convention.
