Enterprise wealth management technology is a lot like a jigsaw puzzle.  Technology, operating models and strategy all have to fit perfectly to make the picture appear.  And we've built our company to help clients put the right pieces together.

But 2020 seems to have shaken the box and more firms are now trying to fit in new pieces they didn't have before. Anything related to client portals, online access and digital experiences have become number one priorities.

One great way to stay on top of new technology is attending online conferences and webinars. Here are a few upcoming events that I think you should attend:

  • Morningstar Investment Conference (Sep 16-17) - A terrific event for financial advisors who appreciate Morningstar products and research, are more hands on with investing, and want to learn about the future of advice. Click here to register.
  • Euromoney Global Private Banking & Wealth Management (Oct 15) - This is a premier event that normally takes place in London. I'm moderating a panel called "The Hidden Value Proposition" which is about digital technology and AI impacting global wealth firms.  Click here to register.

Stay Engaged,

#ItzOnWealthTech Ep. 63: How to Avoid the "Race to Average" with AdviceTech.LIVE Moderators

How can financial advisors break out of the race to an average technology stack and avoid creating a bland client experience? Is it possible for technology to take the place of empathy and can a virtual technology conference become a catalyst to improve diversity in financial services?  Financial advisor technology is turning into a race to average.

This was a group discussion among the moderators for the upcoming AdviceTech.LIVE conference:

Podcasts I'm Listening To:

I thought I would share a few non-wealth, non-fintech podcasts with you, since I expect everyone is going to have a lot more time on their hands and could use some distractions from work and the news!

Hosts Torie Happe and Johnny Sandquist talk about fintech trends in the wealth management industry... and tacos.
As the name implies, this podcast is about banks, bank technology, digital payments, regulations, challenger banks and a whole lot more. One of the top fintech podcasts in the world.

Craig is currently accepting invitations to speak at in-person (if possible) & virtual events in 2020.
