Brazilian perspectives for the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework
The Brazilian Perspectives for the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (BIO2020) took place from 4 to 6 February 2020 in São Paulo, Brazil, ending with the signing of a strong charter, the Carta de São Paulo, and all 26 Brazilian state capital cities, as well as São Paulo State, committing to sign up and join CitiesWithNature.
Edinburgh Process: Virtual Workshop
The Scottish Government is hosting the Edinburgh Process for Subnational Governments, Cities and Local Authorities on the development of the Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. This workshop is piloting a virtual consultation format that will run online from 17 April until 8 May 2020. We encourage you to join us in this exciting process and make your inputs in the virtual format.

The Municipality of Barcelona is leading the way in demonstrating their commitment to mainstreaming urban nature. We congratulate the city for their progress along the Nature Pathway. Follow Barcelona’s journey and be inspired by the work they have shared.

Manchester City Council
Manchester City Council has made significant progress on the pathway and has shared how they are securing the value of nature by transforming from the Industrial Revolution to the Green Revolution.
City of Fort Collins

Snap, Share, Win: Cities4Forests Forest Challenge
Our collective challenge as humanity is more obvious than ever before: how to live in greater harmony with nature. From 22 April-15 June 2020, our CitiesWithNature partner, Cities4Forests, in partnership with ReforestAction, will plant a tree for each photo shared using the #OurCityOurForests.
