ULTRA Events was proud to be part of the annual Memorial Day held at the Red Cross Children's Hospital. Ultra provided a JBL PRX sound system spread across the entrance of the hospital along with Soundcraft audio control. This Annual Day of Remembrance is held at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital in Cape Town. It commemorates the World War II South African servicemen and veterans who donated two days of their pay towards what was to become the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital.

Sunday the 18th of November saw the annual FEDISA Graduate Collection Show on the fabulous FEDISA Event Deck. The top collections from the graduating third year class were showcased on the night. The show concluded with awards given out to the top performing students of 2018 in the BA Degree and Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing and Media. ULTRA was tasked to concoct a full technical solution for the fashion show and graduation ceremony for the seated guests and the cameras recording the event for a post event edit. ULTRA built a aluminium Stageplus ramp, adorned with trussing arches and a central truss spine which housed the led lighting and the LCD screens. A JBL PRX sound system was entrusted as the center piece of the audio solution.

BRANDS THAT RECENTLY TRUSTED ULTRA WITH THEIR EVENTS

The annual Ace's birthday bash in Khayelitsha was a social affair attended by approximately 6000 revelers dancing into the wee hours of the morning with local and national DJ's and bands performing on a JBL Vertec line array sound system powered by Crown I-tech amplifiers with v5 tunings. The visual solution incorporated ULTRA's 6mm led screens which were powered by Resolume arena5. The lighting solution was tasked to Martin mac101 and Robe Pointe intelligent lighting, controlled by a MA Ultra lite lighting control system. The power solution utilized an ULTRA SDMO110kva 3 phase generator

The highlight on the City Varsity event calendar was the much anticipated Body Spectra 2018, held in Cape Town at the Canvas event space.  ULTRA was on hand to assist with a creative technical solution of fashion ramp, sound and lighting. The final year students had the day to paint and adorn their models with body painting and prosthesis, ready for the evenings' extravaganza which was viewed by a live studio audience and filmed for video edit.
